mod_uddeim notification question

hi there

I have been having some issues with the notification module and i can't find the answers anywhere.

I'm using the latest build of uddeim (love it) with the following settings.



First main issue, if it is an issue, is that when a message is sent to a user, it pops up saying "New Message: 1" but it won't switch to the Name and Teaser until the user has changed the page. Wondering how come it doesn't shop up as the name/teaser setting right away.

Secondly, the pop up notifications kinda seem to show up only when they feel like it. If i Disable Popups, the module notifier also stops working so I keep it turned on. The pop up also only show up when the user logs in for the first time and not instantly when the message is sent except for once or twice when it did show up.

The module does two things:

First, it shows new messages in a module area. The list is only updated when the page is refreshed (there is no AJAX code for that currently).

Second, it shows popups (floating boxes) when new messages are available. Usually this is also done when the page refreshes but for that purpose you can also enable AJAX.
