Mass mails

Hello,

I'm on Joomla 1.5.9 and uddeim 1.6

i'd like to send a mass message to all my site members ( a bit more than 17 000 members) but it doesn't work.
after a moment, it shows the folowing error :

HTTP 500 Internal Error System

i've tried general message and system message, same thing

any idea to get it work ?

Check your error logs. This is most likely due to a fatal error because of lack of memory. See FAQ section and increase memory limit.

usually, if it's a memory limit error or problem, it would give "allowed memory limit..." error message, right ?

Maybe the server timed out. Sending a hugh number of massages takes some CPU time.
