Configuration is writeable config.class.php

First let me say I REALLY like this messaging plugin! It really is easy to install and it has great functionality.

My problem is (and I have tried searching google and these forums and apparently I'm not searching with a good enough search string, have also looked in the FAQ.pdf and the Readme files) that my config.class.php file is still writable.

Do I need to just go in by ftp and change that? or is there something else I need to do?

It is ok, let it writeable there is no need to change that.

Assuming someone compromises your website there are other more important issues you have to think about. You can restore the uddeIM config quite easy using the built in backup functionality.

If you really want to make it read-only, chmod it to 444.

As long as it won't hurt anything and it will still function like it needs to I think I better chmod it to 444.
