profile link to components from message view

hello,

I have already read about this problem on your forums.
When I receive a message and go to my inbox folder the link of the author points to e.g.

/component/comprofiler/userprofile/username

instead of

/comprofiler/userprofile/username

which I most likely would like to have as my left and right modules do not show up. I fixxed a similar problem with articles by creating a fake menu. I tried the same with the uddeIM component but did not make it work yet.

The forums state it has a section regarding this problem, though I could not find it. Can anyone please advice me what to do?

I use:
Joomla 1.5
CB 1.2
uddeIM 1.6 + Hotfix

The first thing you should consider is to use the correct forum.

This is for uddeIM support only.

actually I think I'm just right here. Because this problem only occurs from the message view inside uddeIM.
I have found this thread which is just about the same topic and there seems to be some kind of solution. There you also mention the FAQ in which I could not find the given section. Can't you give me a hint?

Ok, I understand what you problem is.

The Itemid is the problem. In uddeIM 1.7 I have changed the behavior completely, so it should work on most systems now.
