online status is not working

I upgraded 1.6 to uddeIM 1.7.
All are perfect except online status is not working.
'show online status' have been changed to 'yes' in the 'config.class.php'.But,when users logged into the frontend,status is always offline.

Please help me.

Yes, its a small bug in 1.7. A request asked to remove backend logins, so I did a last minute fix. Unfortunately this works for registered users only, not for others.

Please find enclosed the fix.

I have downloaded the bugfix and I will test it tomorrow in company.

I mean you will solve that it is not work for others sooner or later.

Is this fix included in the latest download. Ill be moving to my office in a bit to download the main file and was wondering if I need the fix too.
