How to make a pre-registration form?

Hi!

It's my first time on a forum, I like to know how can I make pre-registration form?

I have to realize a form for a school, where the field will be different if the person who fill it is a student or a teacher.

The ideal should be a first inscription with: name, telephone, email, profession (student or teacher),
then when the personn received is confirmation email, he is redirected to another form to finish completing the information. that second form should be different if he is a student or a teacher.

I hope i have been clear enought so you can help me.

Two ways to do this - unfortunately not free.

You need either CBSubs which can do this and much more (adds protected content against subscription plans, so you can have specific content only viewable by teachers for example). CBSubs needs a license purchase.
