FYI - I have no CB solutions installed other than the basic CB package. I am running CB in Joomla 1.5.23. If you need other system information please let me know.
Currently in my CB Field Manager for my Registration form, I've got the following set for the variable "firstname":
- Show in Profile?: Yes, on 1 Line
- Required?: No
- Minimum length: 2
- Field entry validation: Multiple words with spaces ( /^([a-z]+ *)*$/i )
The other fields in the Registration form are lastname, email, username, password, verify password, address, city, state, zip, phone. All are required.
No matter if I set the "Required?" to "Yes" or "No" on the firstname variable, I keep getting a "Please enter first name" popup error when I hit the "Register" button on the front end.
Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, did you fix it and how?
