CB 1.7.1 Registratin does not work in joomla 1.7.3

I am using joomla 1.7.3 and CB 1.7.1 and sh404SEF. The CB installation went well! However, after following the steps listed below, CB registration doesn’t work. When I click on register link in CB Login module it opens the core joomla registration page and when I disable joomla registration it redirect me to joomla login page.

1) Install com_comprofiler
2) Install mod_cblogin module
3) Install mod_comprofilerModerator module
4) Install mod_comprofilerOnline module
5) Enable CB Login, CB Workflows and CB Online modules
6) Select Name Style parameter from Community Builder Configuration and save.Run Community Builder Synchronize Users tool.
7) Disable Joomla/Mambo login modules
Add new Public menu item to Community Builder component
9) Add new User List menu item and create new user list in CB List Management.
10) Adjust Community Builder and Joomla settings to allow registrations
Only through Community Builder
11) Disable joomla registration from user manager options.
set "Allow User Registration" to "yes, independently of global site setting"

Did you find a solution to this? I am using QuickStart of Boutique from Gavick .. and I am basically done with the site. Now I am adding the menu items for CB Registration .. and am getting a blank page. I am using Joomla 2.5 and CB 1.8RC though .. and this bug still exists

Please read:
Support -> FAQ -> Blank page
then check debug output and compare with other faqs.
then if problem persists, open a new thread in Professional support, as you have Pro membership.
