How to make user image not changeable

Hi, I'm creating a website for a school and the students will have an account on the website.
I need those users to have an image, that will be set by the administrators. I would like to make it non changeable by the users. Is that possible? How?

Yes, just make image readonly.

This way only admins can change from backend.

I've already make it read only. But from the profile page in the frontend the user can load another image for his profile.

(Just to be sure: in field management I've set the avatar options to read only. What am I doing wrong?)

Works for me when testing with CB 1.9.

Any way to solve this problem?
