Secure links in webaddress field

Secure links in webaddress field was created by raebaca

The system seems to remove the front hyperlink tag for the web address field and defaults to link to plain "http://". This is fine for the person's website address but we have a special field that needs to have the secure "https://" link.

Any suggestions on how we can do that?
