Hello krileon.
There are a number of field in the profiles of my users that are read-only.
I have some managers that are within the moderators of CB :
- It appears that they can edit the profiles of member in frontend
- But they cannot modify the read-only fields.
For that, I shall give the moderator a backend access with appropriate rights.
Is-it normal that moderation cannot be done on read-only fields ?
1) If not, what did I miss to get it working ?
2) If yes, I will add it in the feature requests
Sorry if this point is already covered, I do not have found it.
Best Regards
Lionel

Read Only fields can not be edited anywhere except backend. For frontend moderator only edit you'd need CB Privacy as it provides such a feature. There are no plans to change the read only behavior at this time.

Thank for your very fast response.
And great, I have CB-privacy and I finally found how to do it.
I know, not very clever, I let the field as read-only....
It easy to do :
1) Change the field setting to set "Read-Only" to "No"
2) Go to the tab "Integration" and set Edit Display to "Moderator only can edit display" (You can also create a customize user group or user access that will have this privilege"
It works like a charm.
