Is it my imagination or did there used to be a front end page size selector inclusion option for user lists? There is a per-page size specification for each list, but no option to allow the user to see more entries per page? Selections for this might be like Default|10|20|50|100|200|All, for example, and appear in the list editor under Parameters/Paging.
Just curious. I might be thinking of the Joomla content navigation feature.
A very long time ago yes that existed for most frontend views with paging. It was removed primarily due to it hurting the ability to control performance. It's hard to gauge the performance of your site when users can wildly change how many items are queried and processed, which does have significant impact (e.g. loading 15 users vs 100 has very different performance). It was also just ugly UI wise and is better served being in backend management views only.
