0 - PHP regular expression limit reached (pcre.backtrack_limit)

2 years 9 months ago #328914 by moonlit-media
Hello.

A user on our website has a very large number of "connections" in CB in comparison to our other users (she has 1008).

Recently her profile fails to load (when other user's profiles load normally), and a PHP error shows.

It says: 0 - PHP regular expression limit reached (pcre.backtrack_limit)

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this? (I could not find any other posts in this forum)

Is the failure to load related to the number of connections the user has?

How can the issue be remedied?

Thank you.

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting then retry. That should give you a call stack trace to see where exactly it's erroring. There is no REGEXP in the connections functionality so likely coming from something else.
