We are an educational institution in Africa, using Community Builder to keep track of our staff and students.
We want some information, such as for example Academic Records, to be only accessible to Faculty and the individual student.
I am able to restrict access to just Faculty, but this then makes the information not accessible to the individual student who owns the record.
How can I restrict access to a user's information to both an access level AND the individual user.
——UDPATE EDIT——
And... how can I make some fields editable only by Faculty, viewable only by the user, and not viewable by other students (e.g. grades)?

You'll need CB Privacy for what you're wanting to do. It can limit edit access to a specific view access level or usergroup for example then separately limit display while still allowing profile owner to see the field. CB Conditional can also do this as well, but is a little more complicated to configure.
