Force user to update their profile with a newly added required field

Hi,

I added a new required field for user profile.
When existing users log in, how do we lock them at their Edit Profile page until after they update and submit all the required field?
I don't want them to access anything until they fill up all the required field.

There's no way to enforce that. Joomla doesn't have a generic API (what API is available is only for password resets and privacy consent) for restricting access to a specific page safely. It's possible to implement something like that using CB Auto Actions, but requires careful consideration on what URLs to redirect away from.
