New user import - Two emails with password

Hi
I am about to import users from a csv file into Joomla5 with CB.
Everything works fine when testing with one user, except two things:
During CB User import I choose to send e-mail since I want the login details with password to be distributed.
- I get an email with password at import. User is inactive. This is OK! When activating the user another email is sent with a new password. This is confusing.
- At login the new user is directed to  "/component/users/profile?layout=edit"  while I am expecting to get to CB profile "/option=com_comprofiler&view=userprofile" as configured in CB. I think I solved this by unpublishing the plugin System - Privacy Consent?

What else did I do wrong to get two password emails (with different/changed pw)? Please advice!

One email might be Joomla's. Within System > Extensions > Plugins edit "User - Joomla!" and toggle off "Notification Mail to User". Normally however CB does send 2 depending on your configure. 1 would be the Pending email and another the Welcome email. Only the Pending email should contain the password though unless you added it to the Welcome email. Both emails can be configured in CB > Configuration > Registration.

You are right, I found the plugin, thanks. A bit messy with two systems doing the same thing, handled at different places. All sorted now after changing the plugin and importing also the fields "activated" and "confirmed" as 1.
