Hello,
Did anyone solve this problem yet?
I have the same issue of removing the "userprofile "element of the profile URL.
How do I do it?

**UPDATE**
I figured it out from a post i just found. In the components-->com_comprofiler-->router.php files is some lines between 26 and 34 that can be removed to show only the user ID instead of their login name.

Hello,
I am wondering how to get the USERNAME out of the url for a profile. The list is set to public viewing, and having the username (half of the login info) public is wrong.
I looked and looking for an answer online, and in these forums, and in the Joomla back end, to no avail. Is this even possible?
Thanks!

Unfortunately it is not build into CB. You would have to hack it to make it not display. Personally I believe this should be fixed in CB 2.0. I hope it is at least considered.
