That still didn't work.

I just did a test application and once I confirmed my email address, I was able to login and pay. And I am not approved by the moderator.

Thanks for reporting the issue you have. This workflow was working fine when implemented and tested, but we will try to reproduce this behavior. So:
Added report of potential bug as #5629 for re-test and confirmation.

I should also note that the member is able to log in and pay even before they confirm their email address.

Question: Do you recall if this was working ok in CBSubs 3.0 and CB 191?

Ok, I was able to confirm and gave feedback on our internal ticket.
Beat will be working on a resolution which we will push back as a nightly release.

I have referenced this thread in the ticket and I will post back feedback once a resolution is implemented/released.
