We are thinking about switching the gateway from Moneris to PayPal and had a question that possibly you guys will be able to answer. Moneris will send us an email receipt when someone places an order for a subscription (it has their name, plan, price and taxes on it). Will PayPal send us something similar. In the past, we have received receipts from PayPal that don't have any name or plan on it. Wondering if this is something you set up with them.

Do you mean send a receipt to the person purchasing or to you as the seller? The user making the purchase should always get a payment confirmation as that's just standard PayPal functionality. As for to the seller I've no idea, but I'd assume it's something you could configure. Alternatively you can setup CBSubs to send the email when the subscription becomes active (so only once payment goes through).

I meant the receipt to us the seller. I guess we can always do a test and see what it looks like. I just assumed that it was something you guys set up because currently Moneris gives us info from CBSubs on their receipts (plan etc.).
CBSubs has no control over the gateway doing something like that. That'd be a feature specific to a gateway, which PayPal likely has.

Okay I will test out this Gateway. Is it possible to have more than one Gateway set up (our Moneris as well as our PayPal) and just turn on one for a test then quickly go back to the other one?
I'm finding it difficult to follow along the PayPal documentation found in the CBSubs manual. I think some of the fields have changed.
For example, I can't find the bottom 3 fields on page 179 or the "PayPal specific settings" on page 186. The logo image, shipping address etc. Where is that?
