Apologies for the confusion. I had created two new registered user groups (Free, Paid), but I think I could have just renamed the "Registered" group to the "Free" one as the default. This way if a paid member expires or unsubscribes they get downgraded to the free plan.

My original question was asking what the default behaviour was for CBSubs when it "kicks" a user out of a Paid Group set up in a plan.

Best approach for adding new usergroups is to make them parent groups of Registered so they inherit Registered without touching Registered. Example as follows.

- Registered
- - Free
- - Paid

If a plan in CBSubs is configured to manage a usergroup it will remove that usergroup when the subscription for that plan is no longer active. So with the above your Free plan would add the Free usergroup and your Paid plan add the Paid usergroup. I suggest leaving Registered alone entirely.
