User Awards

The component and CB-plugin are now available here in the Download Area . I fixed some isntallation problems, however it's all still very basic - but I'm workin on it!

I'm getting an error when trying to install the component... Line 6: 'ENGINE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=1'

Any suggestions?

Well, after reading around I tried a few things, namely changing ENGINE= to TYPE=

Now I am getting this error:

File /home/httpd/vhosts/XXXXX.com/httpdocs/media/install_43b0bf1605707/com_awards/awards.class.php does not exist!

TYPE is right, instead of ENGINE. Strange, my phpMyAdmin exported it as ENGINE, and the installation went fine for me.

I have a new version up with some smaller changes, and I decided to put everything on the Forge:
developer.joomla.org/sf/projects/jawards

(Version handling is easier there)
Nearly everything is ready there.
Can you see if the error occurs at the version there too?

Note: everything has the be re-installed with this version, but the database stays untouched if it already exists.

Got this when I tried to install the mod. I am a noob and don't know how to fix this. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Do you mean the CB-plugin, or the component?

From the error message, it appears that you tried to install either one as a module in Joomla. This is not possible!

You need the component installed in the Joomla! components installer management, and the plugin installed in the plugin management of Community Builder.
