okay, so i have a demo going at cms.reviewyou.com.au , or reviewyou.com.au/cms whichever you like, its only the front end but gives you an idea of how the system works and i have put a few pictures in of the backend.

It doesent give a log of registration, not to sure why but working on that one at the moment, anyways it is pretty self explanatory.

The login for the site is demo12 and password demo12

hope it gives you some ideas.

Thanks,

Trav Hale

Hello,

I have a little problem with this plugin.

My monthtly karma and total karma are always the same.

What can I do to solve this ? Is there a special operation to do ?

Thanks if you can help.

The upgrade seem pretty cool.

the monthly and total karma should stay the same until the end of the month, when the monthly karma will be reset, however if for some reason you wanted to you could reset the monthly karma early.

Is that what you ment, why is the monthly and total karma the same?, its essentially the total karma or yearly karma is an addition of the monthly karmas keeping a total year tally.

Which works out well at least in my site, which is very much under construction, however its possible to make an acknowledgements page that might say have the monthly karma module from mediaguru so you could thank the users who contributed to the community this month.

I will put up a post again soon, however in terms of mambots, there is a little error which applies to inserting custom code. It is possible to include the remPoints into say a censor bot so points are removed when a user swears, however the my->id feature does not work in mambots the same way so this needs to be changed, i will post this up some time soon hopefully.

Hope that answered your question at least partly...

Thanks,

Trav Hale

Thank you for answering,

I must say that I currently use the original karma plugin, not yet yours.

Must I do reset the monthly karma myself or it's automatic ?

If it's automatic, it doesn't work on my site.

If it's manual, I understand and it's not a bug but my fault ;-)

Thanks again,

Houb.

This plugin is only associated with its own karma system, that is that whilst it works with Fireboard, it does not intergrate with that karma system, rather when you make a post in fireboard, the pointsbot for this checks to see if it is a new post and assigns the set amount of points to it.

In addition, because the database table and fields have not changed at all between this and the previous karma module the plexoinvite module is compatible with this new karma system.... with a but, that the log is not yet incorperated, this is something i will have a quick peek at when i get abit of time but it will probobly just be a quick code change in the plexoinvite module, to replace where it adds the points to the table directly with using the addpoints function.

Thanks,
