MYSPACE like MP3 player (Released)

This is great! Besides the security changes, is there any way of working on the look of the player? Perhaps skins...

Looks pretty nice. Can a user have multiple tracks?

About the multitrack and the look of the player, the answers are yes and yes.

it depends on wich player you are using.

There are several famous players commonly used on the web,
To have an overview of them, I invite you to visit the website
www.jamendo.com
register, then browse music and choose one album.
you will see the tracks, and in the right top corner, you have an option to see widgets's code (it's called "albulm information".

choose "other widgets-->blog/xhtml

and it loads a new webpage with a sample of all the commonly used players.

some are singletrack, some multitrack, some have autoplay or not, some can print the picture of the album..

the names of the players are :
-extended Musicplayer
-radio blog reader (aka jukeblog)
-Musicplayer compact
-Musicplayer button (only a play button)
-dewplayer (famous because very light player)

about the customisation, usually it's basic customisation. you can change a few colors.

Well, About the security issue, I must said that I havn't had time to work on this yet but I know how I will do and it shouldn't be too long and should be efficient.

You can either just search, click play, see the single player on the right and below you can modify the colors and take the code (so easy!), you can also click on a track which will bring you to a user's favorite list so you can take that code too so you now have a player with multiple tracks.

Best thing to do is register, search for songs and add them to your list, then go to your list, modify the colors and take the code!

I have build a new version of the plugin .

It's still beta but I think that it's really better.

All is written in the read me text that is inside the zip, but the main news is :

-improved security (I really think it's safe now :blush: )

I explain you how to make it work with one website: RBC :woohoo:

If you write your own regular expression, you can make it work with any other website that provide that kind of streams with a player :woohoo: .

As I say in the text, keep in mind that it's still beta and there is one thing that I want to test. It's to try the component to someone that havn't hacked joomla to work with utf-8. (like me)

Just try and tell me please. And about the uninstall, don't worry, once it's uninstalled, nothing remains in database.

EDIT : here is an update of the regexp for radioblogclub, because with the current one, you cannot change the color of the background. Too the song compatibility is improved.

thanks, but what do you mean with the last sentence? Cant you just fix it in the zip and re-upload?
