phpBB Connector V1.0.2 Beta now available

I am assuming is has to do with having so many users. When the control panel loads... it loads all of the tabs at the same time (based on the tabs we are using...) so that can explain the long load time.

Here is a file which limits to 2000 users (per your info... can adjust if still not enough) would have to import in steps but that would be better than nothing. I would like to find what threshold the database can stay within the timeout.

I assume a typo on the phpBB 2.0.19 versus 2.0.9?

Rename this file to phpbbgui.php and overwrite the existing one... then let me know how it works.

Lets try this

It worked, it worked, it worked!

I did batches of 2000 and it went very quickly with no timing out.

All of my users have been syched into phpbb. New users are showing up and everything seems to be running just fine.

The phpbbgui.php file is still saving to my hard drive during the process.

Just out of curiosity... how many total users are sync'd now?

As of this minute, 10,167.

However, there's a problem. Some users are logging in and showing correctly on Joomla but are coming up as a different user name in phpbb.

When they go back to the user panel in joomla to log out, this error comes up:

Error obtaining user details

I don't have either problem when I'm logged as administrator.

PM me some info on how I can log in as an admin on the backend (prefer create new Admin versus sharing existing super admin so it can be deleted when done)... I would like to see what is happening. My guess is that some users have a -1 entered into their phpbb ID.

You may be able to see these users if you go into the phpBB Connector Control Panel... these users should show up under the "Matched Users" tab. You could select them and tell them to match similar to when importing.
