mod_cballn1online ?!

Displaying avatars on hover over username only works for Admins. For other user classes viewing the module, you get an an Object Expected error on Line 633 (at least that's the error I'm getting).

Here's the code returned for each <li> item on line 633...is something malformed?

I know where the problem is and will fix it the next release but for a work around just add the following line to your templete index.php file before the </head>
[code:1]<script type=\"text/javascript\" src=\"components/com_comprofiler/js/overlib_mini.js\"></script>[/code:1]
Or wait for the next beta release by Monday.

There is another official project to make this happen ie. make a replacement for cballn1online, it's called "cbonlinefull" and can be found on joomlaforge.

It's still in beta, but the developer and quite a few people testing and suggesting enhancements are making it quite nice. It already supports mouse-over thumbnails, different colours for male/female, and messenger online/offline status for users logged in.
