Going to try this out, I think God stopped me from installing Joomlaboard... once i click the install button it would take me to a blank page. But wow,... an SMF plugin is just awesome :P.

I'll check back if I encounter any issues.

Keep up the great work.

God Bless '_^

I'm very glad this is being done. Karma increased. What is the status now? Do I dare try an install of SMF yet?

CB/Joomla golf site: www.thegolfspace.com
Geek/joomla site: www.tkserver.com

Check out my Joomla/CB projects:

* LIKE thumbs up system for "liking" content items
* Karma - CB user rating system
* Golf Score Tracker
* Jitter - status update system. "What's on your mind?"
* CB Author Plug - Shows CB author link and avatar in content items. J1.5 compatible and very customizable!

Found on my web site or in the Joomlapolis Directory !

I just released version 1.1RC2 of our bridge. In addition, I released 1.0.1 of the joomla_smf_auth CB plugin. I was able to incorporate user synchronization to SMF when registering via CB and also user activation synchronization. Obviously this is still minor tweaks but we are investigating how to better integrate CB with SMF using our bridge for future versions. You can get the latest version of our bridge and the CB plugin from this thread currently:

Ok, sounds good. I did have a question about part of the plugin I attempted to implement and failed miserably in doing so. I tried to register a function on the events 'onBeforeNewUser' or 'onAfterNewUser' to capture a new user setup by an admin and sync them to SMF. However, no matter what I tried whether before or after or anything else... when testing adding a new user via CB user manager I always received a blank page with the "Hacking Attempt" error message after clicking save. Any ideas why it was failing? :S
