i think i deleted the fireboard tab

ok now i figured out how to edit the gobbly gook, i think.

but it didn't work so i had to take that code back out...it messed up the page. but then i realized that i could go into the fields and just edit them using the info on that post. so i did and now there's actual english instead of code in the profile edit! woohoo!

now i gotta figure out why the heck i now have 2 tabs called "forum settings" and why they have different info.

more digging to do.

nope. i figured it out. one was for the frontend tab that shows recent posts by the user on the forums, and one is for backend forum settings. i had the backend one set to view publicly, so i just had to change that setting and now its only viewable when the user is editing their profile.

i rock! LOL!

i was so proud of myself last night, i got it all worked out and all on my own! woohoo! (well, with help from the past posts that gave me clues to what i needed). had to stay up til 2am to figure it all out, but oh well, its all fixed now! woohoo!!

Ah yes. I turned that to admin only, because I didn't want my users to have forum signatures (to prevent spam)...
