Eventlist reg users plugin

I also had the problem with no language file found.

I changed all mos into jos, but not the .mosFormatDate, because i got an error.

Then it worked, but in english, so i just changed

(I already had uploaded the germani.php file of this thread into the language folder)

And now it works perfect.

Just wanted to tell you that, in case somebody has the same problems.

Hmmmm are u sure you installed the newest version of the events list? should be 0.7.* www.schlu.net/component/option,com_remository/Itemid,29/func,select/id,2/

and it only shows sth in ur tab if u sign up for an event not if u post them only

Oh. Well it's all a bit unclear (could just be me though). I've got events calendar installed. Events list installed. Events sessions bla bla bla. I'm getting errors and I installed events list.

I would THINK that if you created an event it would show up in your events tab??? Makes sense to me.

I'm going to remove for now and wait a while on this one. I'll check back on it later.

@ mediaguru from the sound of it you may be having a problem with eventlist itself.
The stuff I wrote, just pulls info from the eventlist tables in the database.
Were you able to get eventlist working properly without the plug in?

Ok, it DOES work. I got it working now. I've used events list to create an event category, venue etc in the backend of joomla. I registered for the event and it did show up on my events tab.


OK. I get it. Now some questions...

How can a plain old user ADD an event? Why shouldn't an event someone creates show up in their tab?

Users can add events from the eventlist module (u must configure this in eventlist settings).

I asked the same question about eventlist (i didn't write eventlist), if I create an event shouldn't I be automatically added... but this is just an eventlist thing. My plug in doesn't actually do anything with eventlists com or module it just looks in the database entries for this.
I think there should at least be a checkbox when a user creates an event (default checked) to add themselves to the event... I will take a look at doing this, and submitting it to the eventlist author. When I get this working it will be more of a hack than an add on, but I'm happy to give it to you as well.
