Problem solved!

All what I did is adding a Registration page as follows:

Menu Manager – Main Menu – Menu Item(s)

Click on new – Menu item type = Community Builder = Registration page = published yes

Straight forward step for experienced users but not for newbies. It would be helpful to add this step in the Installation document.

We are having the same problem with registration and getting the 404 error. We have only installed CB1.3.1 today and have followed the read me instructions carefully. Have tried everything that we've seen so far posted but still registration is not working. This is the path:
/index.php/component/user/register

Website url is www.greatsouthland.org/wfn

Simple instruction needed as this is our first experience with Joomla 1.5 and CB.

Please turn off SEF and see if registration is working.

Also please check all CB Tools in backend and report back any findings.

We have already tried it with SEF turned off and it made not difference. What specifically should we check under CB Tools at the backend?
