Why show the field on registration form to begin with?

Hello to everyone!

However i think that it may be useful because, for example, i would insert a field that displays a link to external page. This link must be "read only" and it must be shown also in the user's details and during registration. So, of course, the field should be accept html's code. Fields delimiter doesn't work in this way and shows only static text.

Has someone idea for this?
