CB 1.4 compressed zip invalid

zip file doesnt unzip error message given "compressed zip folder is invalid or empty"

Hmmm...everything else that i have .zip extracted works fine. Is this my experience only or has anyone else had trouble extracting cb1.4 ?

It works fine for me, maybe try to download the file again now.

Did you follow the instructions and unzipped the file you downloaded first? There you will find com_comprofiler.zip to upload to your joomla component installation....

As the filename says: cb_1_4_0-unzip1st.zip

Taken from the download page:

Community Builder 1.4 is compatible with all versions of Joomla (1.0.x, 1.5.x, and 1.6.0).

The distribution package is named cb1.4-unzip1st.zip and after you download it you need to unzip it first to reveal the following:

CB1.4_Installation.pdf --> This is an installation guide that will guide you through the installation process.
README-NEW-INSTALL.txt --> Read-me guide for new installations
README-UPGRADE.txt --> Read me guide for upgrades
com_comprofiler.zip --> CB Component package
mod_cblogin.zip --> CB Login module
mod_comprofilerModerator.zip --> CB Workflow / Moderation module
mod_comprofilerOnline.zip --> CB Online module
cb_expert_files_only_j_1.5.tar.gz --> Expert files upgrade for Joomla installations
cb_expert_files_only_m_4_j_1.0.tar.gz --> Expert files upgrade for Mambo installations

PHP 5+ needed - CB 1.4 will not install on PHP 4 environments!

Yes I unzipped the package first and tried to upload com_comprofiler

Can you show a screenshot of the error you get?
