Something from your host end is not giving Joomla more than 8M.

Just try for yourself and access the Jooomla backend -> Site -> System information ...

you will get a similar message to:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 8650752) (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /XXX...XXX/libraries/joomla/utilities/date.php on line 410

Simple math shows you that you can only allocate 8M and when any Joomla function tries to allocate more you will run into this problem.

I guess your super fast server will not help if it has no memory.

Tell your host that the above message has nothing to do with CB. As you can see it was generated by trying to access a simple Joomla function.

Tell your host to do the math based on the message and start dealing with the real issue.

i insisted with my host and they found ( do not know how ) the solution.
I think it is important to announce this to anybody who's on a LiteSpeed web hosting server.
here is a way to go round the matter, so insist wirh your host !
