Issue after Joomla 1.6.2 update was created by Elderewen
Hi

I’m working locally on a Joomla 1.6 website and I installed few days ago Community Builder 1.4 to setup and manage user profiles. All worked perfectly until I had the bad idea to update Joomla from 1.6.1 to the lastest 1.6.2 release. The most important issue is that from now I can not edit user profiles from the CB User Management Menu (nothing happens when I click on the user name or when I click on the edit button after having selected a user). I hope that my English is easily understood (I’m French ;)) and that someone will help me to solve this problem.

Best regards,
Elderewen

Unfortunately Joomla 1.6.2 has broken many third party extensions and templates.

My personal opinion is that you should not use Joomla 1.6 on production sites if you need any third party extension (.)

Hi Elderewen

I am having the same issue but in 1.6.1 - I hope someone can suggest a solution.

Unfortunately in this case 1.5.22 is not an option - out existing site was hacked and malicious hidden code left behind (pointing at another site). 1.6.1 has cleared the intrusion but given me loads of other problems finding things that work correctly.

Your English is far better than my French :-)

Regards

Mike

There was a fix (1.6.3) of Joomla released this morning CET.
It seems to solve the problems occured with the latest release and third party extensions.

Please have a look at your favourite download page for latest version of Joomla 1.6.
