1.6.2 trashed my entire admin environment - telling me Community Builder was no longer installed, but would not let me reinstall it either. Installed a complete fresh install of 1.6.3 and the site functions, but again has the same admin problem, will not let me at CB or re-install it, I even copied it from the old backup to the directories and tried find plugins option. I've just uploaded 1.5.23 in a new directory in consideration of downgrading but it's a pretty involved site (only a dozen members but over 180 articles and 100's of additional profile fields) and I'm not looking forward to rebuilding it - going to hold up a few till I give it one last college try, suggestions of why the admin isn't seeing or re-installing CB? If I can successfully get CB running in a new environment can I simply output the SQL CB tables from one database/install to another?
I'm definitely considering Joomla 1.5.23 for the rest of my sites, and I'm the one who warns all my people to NOT jump on the first update of anything
