[SOLVED] CB Login still not working, redirects to home page!

I've investigated this issue and I can not confirm it.

When attempting to reach a Joomla menu item you don't have access to a CB login module should be shown (if our system plugin is configured correctly). In this case logging in will send you to that menu item. I've confirmed this functions fine.

When accessing a Joomla article you should see an access denied error. It should not send you to a login page. If it does that's not normal Joomla behavior (CB will not redirect you either). If on that page there is a CB login module you will be sent back to the article though. I've confirmed this functions fine.

I don't know what more to advise. If you're being sent to a login page when trying to access a restricted Joomla article then something is redirecting to a login page as Joomla does not do this (confirmed on a clean Joomla only install). I've tested this on J2.x and J3.x. In both cases a "You are not authorised to view this resource." message was shown and no login form was displayed.

I had this issue and found that is was sef that was redirecting the login. I use joomsef and sometimes the database gets scrambled do to session time outs.what i do is delete all sef records and rebuild.
This seems to clear the problem.

What is working:
CB_login module is enabled on all pages. (It is the only login module). Registered Members login from any page at anytime to gain access to restricted frontend.

What is not working:
Registered Member is not logged in, and views restricted content with read more link "Login to Read More". Member clicks link and CB_login module is loaded. Member uses module and is redirected to the HOME PAGE. The current page is NOT reloaded.

CB_Login Module redirect is left blank. CB_System_Plugin Parse URL's all set to enabled. WHAT have I missed? I have tried every consevable combination to stop this from occuring and I can't prevent it.

Still have this problem and like most I have tried many combinations and disabling other plugins to try to find the cause... Can someone confirm what the return URL syntax should be when passing through the CB_login module?

I start on a page with this URL: www.ministermatch.com/congregations/process-and-templates

I try to access restricted content and it sends me to the CB_login module. When I check the URL while on the CB_login page it says: www.ministermatch.com/component/comprofiler/login/congregations/process-and-templates?return=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5taW5pc3Rlcm1hdGNoLmNvbS9jb25ncmVnYXRpb25zL3Byb2Nlc3MtYW5kLXRlbXBsYXRlcw==

Does that look right? I'm wondering if it should have the "congregations/process-and-templates" piece between the "login" and "return" statements.

Ok, I've re-opened the ticket to look into this further. I did not test read more scenario. Only menu and direct access to the article, which both worked fine. It's possible the read more usage specifically is what is causing this and will look into it further.

Folks I need very detailed reports. As I've explained I've tested 2 scenarios very extensively as working. If your scenario is not working I need exact details. I can't fix what I can't confirm so the more detailed the information the better we can all benefit.

This is where I'm afraid that I'm going to lose you... The links in question are being generated by the Document Seller module from JoomDonation. When you click on a document that requires "registered user" access, it redirects you to the CB_Login module.

It passes the return URL (which I had in my last post to see if the syntax is correct) and you can see it in the URL while on the CB_Login page.

You log into CB and then are redirected to the home page and not the original content you were trying to access.
