Hello,


If a site is using the latest stable version of joomla & ssl, would there be any issues to consider if CB Connect were implemented?

I am considering the Professional level membership. Social Login is an interest of mine. I looked at LoginRadius. Their free plugin was effective but not for ssl use. SSL support would require a paid subscription but I beleive CB offers me that and more.

Yes, CB Connect supports HTTP and HTTPS. It's actually suggested to use HTTPS for the added security.

Is there a setting which will make CB Connect use SSL? I seem to still be getting insecure content errors in IE with the new CB Connect version 5 as I was with the previous version.

Joomla: 2.5.11
CB: 1.9

CB Connect supports SSL perfectly fine. When providing your redirect URLs to social sites you need to ensure you supply them with HTTPS URLs as well as after login via the popup it'll send them back to your site. Please also review your site with F12 and find what content specifically it's complaining about so I can better suggest what to do next.

For future reference please post support questions to the support forums and not the presales forums.
