Many thanks, I tried setting the CB Plugins integration to yes for mod_cb_login however this doesnt do the trick. I will have a look at the css file template.css in components/com_comprofiler/plugin/templates/ and try and integrate the css section you mentioned.
The below CSS should do the trick. I believe I've got the pathing correct, but you may need to adjust it to ensure it points to the images properly. Depends entirely on where your templates CSS file is located.
