Problem with CB Connect FB button

Hi. My CB Connect FB button is not working. When I click on it nothing happens - no popup, nothing. Google and Twitter buttons are working perfectly.

Also, on the connections list backend I see some users who are listed, but the "types" and "ID" fields are blank - i.e. no indication of which channel they connected with.

I have double-checked that all field are populated and enabled as required. The only field that is blank is the optional redirect url field. What could I have done wrong? Or is it a bug?

CB Connect v1.1.0 running on CB 1.7 and J!1.7.3

Just noticed that the twitter connect process is really not working. I had used token and secret codes instead of Consumer key and consumer secret codes, which require a twitter application. Does that I have to create an app my self or is there a CB app supporting this? Is there any documentation for CB Connect?

Your CB Connect is significantly out of date. Latest release is 2.0.1, please upgrade. There have been changes on Facebooks end that will cause all previous releases to no longer function. Please note you should also upgrade to CB 1.7.1 as it's most stable release for J1.7.

You know what? given the number of extensions in CB's stable it would be nice if you guys developed an extension manager to track updates and flag them on a dashboard. Or at least some form of notification to users when updates are published.

We plan to provide something along those lines with CB 2.x.

No, you just need to create and configure one; no coding involved at all. Please click "Help" from CB Connect backend and follow the instructions carefully.
