Whenever a user tries to register on my site, the get the following message:

"You are not authorized to view this page!"

The registration page is set to public. In the Joomla back-end:
Allow User Registration is set to "Yes"
New User Registration Type is set to "Registered".

The Registration Page is:
planethop.com/component/comprofiler/registers

I have CB 1.8 installed on Joomla 1.5.23.
The CB Login module is the one that came with CB 1.8 package.

I really need HELP!

Thanks.

Nant,

I haven't changed any permissions lately. Registration Access Level is "Public".

Now, I cannot even login from the home page and receive the same error. (I can't login in using a Admin account - or even normally registered user.)

Interestingly enough, when I try to login through a menu link to the Login/Logout User Menu any user can login. (The original Joomla login/lout link)
planethop.com/index.php?option=com_user&view=login

My registration and login issues happen when it is done through the CB Login Module, which is published on the home page.
planethop.com

PS: I have CB Auto Actions installed, with a re-direct on login to the user profile for Registered users. Even if I disable this redirect and Plugin, there is no change.

You have registered on my site before as "nant", so you may want to see for yourself.
If you need backend access, I can PM you.

The only major change that I have done recently is upgrade from CB 1.7 to CB 1.8. Did not have these issues before the upgrade.

This issue has become a MASSIVE problem for me; hope you can help me resolve it.

Have reviewed your install and it's due to using HTTPS for login, registration, and forgot login functions as configured in your CB Login modules. It fails due to your sites caching usage caching out of date pages and results in posting to an HTTP page instead of HTTPS which results in CBs security kicking in. I've changed the module to use whatever the current page is and cleared cache then confirmed is now working. Please also confirm is working for you.
