Hello,

The Community Builder users are registering and sending e-mail confirmation. Once the user confirms its registration, have the message that the account was successfully activated.

However, when attempting to login the system informs you that your password or username is incorrect.

In the user name, changed the field to the customer enter your e-mail again. So both the username and the email will be the same. This may have generated some error?

And a test. Changing the data a user entered and confirmed. I removed the e-mail user name and left only one common name. Still did not work.

In the configuration of the CB is set to the user to login with both username and e-mail. I tried the other options, but the logged UNCA foia option: "Username, Email or CMS enabled athentication plugins".

Obs.: Joomla 1.5.26 - CB 1.8
Obs2.: Previously registered users are able to login.

More then likely the password is being stored by something and resulting in the password being stored wrong. Please apply the below bug fix (download pre-patched files copy/paste/replace to their respective locations).

forge.joomlapolis.com/issues/3354

If you're using CB Auto Actions for example ensure it's up to date as there is a bug that can result in password being stored in an older release. You can confirm this issue by checking _users database table and see if a password got stored as plaintext.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

Replaces the file cb.tables.php, but the error still persists at login.

I'm using CB 1.8 RC2 I downloaded in the download area for professional members. This can influence in some way?

I went into the database and the passwords are encrypted.

CB 1.8 RC2

You need to upgrade to CB 1.8 stable then apply the fixed files.

This can influence in some way?

Of course as your install is out of date (you're using a beta).

I discovered something that might be useful.

When I reset the password for the site and receive a new password (by forget my password). This work.
The error happens when the user creates their own password even.

I did another test. Let set for CB automatically create a password and sends it to the e-mail user. But that also features automatic password error on login.
