I put a couple of my other test names onto author and they were lost, they no longer exist

I must admit I got a bit confused with the user access levels and can't remember the original settings now, at the moment I think access levels for "public=public" registered = registered " and "special - special"

Monitors on the site who were under "author status" think they have been given the sack

A migration from Joomla 1.5.x to Joomla 2.5.x is not a simple thing.

Obviously something went wrong as the initial CB Tool run you quoted indicates an issue with core Joomla files (nothing to do with CB).

I suggest you ask he pro to recheck his migration and perhaps redo from start as I do not know what else might have gone wrong.

ok started again with a new migration, no problems

Ran tools check each time ...no problems

But .... now I run synch users ...fine

2. community datbase ....fine

3. cb fields = B fields data storage Database structure differences:
Table #__comprofiler Column twitter_previous_userid type is varchar(50) instead of varchar(255)

The CB fields data storage database structure differences can be fixed (adjusted) by clicking here: Click here to Fix (adjust) all CB fields data storage database differences listed above (you can also Click here to preview fixing (adjusting) queries in a dry-run), but in all cases you need to backup database first as this adjustment is changing the database structure to match the needed structure for the installed version.

4. cb plugine ....fine

5. usewr database ....fine

..............

Im posting this so as to make trip up again as Im restarting the joomla 1.5 site again from scratch

Im not clciking anything ...no way
