[SOLVED] CBConnect| picture resizing on user registration was created by yusukenishihara
Dear Support

When a user create an account by his facebook account through CB connect, his username and profile picture on facebook are transfered to CB profile automatically. However the picture on CB profile gets resized too small somehow, like 30px-30px. Why is this happening? Where I can control this resizing setting?

Works the same way as uploading an image except it first downloads it from Facebook. If Facebook provides a small image then that's what the user uploaded to Facebook.

So it seems facebook provides thumbnail version of user's profile pictures. Do you mean there is no way to let facebook provides original version of the pictures?

The large size of the picture is already requested, which is the maximum size Facebook has stored. How large it is is entirely up to Facebook. You can see the profile field information below.

Was this question never solved?

It seems as though the picture being uploaded is only being made from the /picture url and not the /picture&type=large url?

Anyway of getting this to work?

Example of what cbconnect is pulling:

/chris.hopkins.568/picture

What it should be pulling:

/chris.hopkins.568/picture?type=large
