The only issue between CB Conditional and CBSubs is the Step by Step isn't functional on plan pages when not logged in. Aside from that you should have no other problems. Of course CB Conditionals can't conditional based off plan selection though as CBSubs isn't a field like normal CB fields.

Regarding CBSubs 2.0.3. It is next release, but I've no time frame. We're hoping within a week or 2. Certainly don't see this issue as a deal breaker though.

Hi Kyle,

Hmmm, perhaps there was something in my config but I couldn't get the parent plans to behave and force a child to be selected, or not displayed with own plan details, like price.

Anyway, I've ditched CB Conditional and gone back to the plain old big form for launch.

This will be my last question on the thread I promise!

I need to show and hide a few fields on the reg form, which I'm going to do with jquery.

If these fields are visible, then they need to be required.

Ideally, I'd like to add them by jquery to the overall CB Reg validation, so it all happens in one go.

Is there a simple way to do this?

Cheers,

No, there's no simple way to do that; which is why I wrote a plugin to do it. You can't just use jQuery as you'll have zero PHP validation. In addition to that if a field is Required and you hide it with jQuery and don't take the necessary steps to alter DOM and PHP your users will never complete registration.

CB Conditional show/hide works perfectly fine on CBSubs plan pages. It's Step by Step specifically that is not functional on CBSubs plan pages. So show/hide of fields based off other fields shouldn't be a problem.

I wouldnt rely that this issue will be fixed in 2.03.

It was pushed to a different release. All I can tell you is that it's marked for 2.0.3 on forge. Beyond that I have no further information. I'm just providing the current status. I'm sorry if that's not sufficient. If you prefer I can say nothing next time requested.

No it's fine. Just frustrating not to get this to work. Thats all.

Also it might be usefull information for other users.

I for my part am thinking about to redesign my registration forms to make sure things are compatible.
