[SOLVED] Some minor questiuons/problems with CB integration

It shows the connection dropdown because you enabled the connection dropdown from configuration. This allows you to easily invite your friends. By Email works for on-site and off-site invites. The date issue is a known bug, which is fixed in 2.5.3 stable (download from Advanced downloads section); please upgrade if you haven't done so yet.

Aha a fix, ok so i just reinstall the plugin. What if I changed some css, ini and php.. will it overwrite them?

If you've altered core files then on upgrade you'll lose your changes. GJ is filled with triggers. There's no reason to alter its core files. Even for templates you derive from the default; simply copy the default, rename it, edit it, and select from backend.

Just 2 questions remain,

1. Can I redirect people to a specific URL after they have logged in? (without 3d party plugins).

2. I am using Uddeim, when I create a new event or invite someone in Groupjive, instead of showing the clickable link in uddeim (accep invite), it shows a rather large string of HTML code. Also when inviting someone to a group, it sends the message twice. Don't know if it's Uddeim or Groupjive causing this.

Yes, set the login redirect parameter within your CB Login module.

You need to enable full bbcode within UddeIM configuration or edit the language string for the message and remove its HTML.

Also when inviting someone to a group, it sends the message twice. Don't know if it's Uddeim or Groupjive causing this.

It should only send it once, but if you have UddeIM setup to do an email notification it'd seam like twice. Please verify if this is the case as if you're receiving the exact same PM twice then that's a problem.

Haha ok, I actually made a menu in Joomla, with a CB Login to appear in a normal menu module.... I didn't use the CB Login module, which is far better by the way.

Setting Uddeim to full BB code did the trick, it couldn't handle th bold letters I think.

The message when inviting someone still appears twice though, in the PM box.. weird
