Hi

I'm using CB 1.8.1 and CBSubs 2.0.2

Testing subscription payment using dummy test gateway with credit card setting in HTTP mode. Mastercard/Visa payment goes ok. Click 'pay':

Safari works ok. Chrome works ok.

IE 64 bit, IE 32 bit and FireFox get error message:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /mcf_dev/index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Interestingly, using IE 64 bit the payment has gone through, but using IE 32 bit and FireFox the payment has not gone through!

I tried turning SEF off - no difference.
Help please.
Tim

PS Will this be the same with live payment gateways?

Browser used shouldn't matter. Do your have Joomla cache enabled? If so disable and clear it and see if issue persists. Ensure you're testing with debug mode and maximum error reporting set within Joomla global configuration.

Hi Krileon
Thanks for your response.
Joomla (V 2.5.7) cache is disabled. Cleared cache anyway.
Test again with FireFox. No debug info on 403 page.
What next?

It has to be a Joomla access permission then. Ensure you have a Public and published Joomla menu link to CB. Joomla throws errors if you're trying to access an Itemid that you don't have access to. Try testing with a Super Users user and see if issue persists. Also ensure CBSubs isn't protecting CB under Integrations > Extensions > Components on any of your plans (you can't protect that which gives you access).

Menu link to CB Public and Published
No CB protection in plan
Super user gets same result, works in Chrome and Safari, but fails with 403 in IE and FireFox.
If it's a Joomla access permission issue, wouldn't it fail in all browsers?

Yes, but if there's browser caching or anything of the sort it could still work in a different browser. Aside from that I've no idea, perhaps is a configuration problem in your browser. Try browsing without addons and resetting the browsers to defaults. Review browser security settings and ensure isn't set too high.
