This is something that'd need fixed in the plugin it self, which I can't help with as I didn't develop it and you'll need to post the issue to UddeIM forums. Does the link on the Message menu item on CB Menu work fine to PM a user?

thank you for your note. Yes, I thought so too that's why I got in touch with Stephan. I will let him know again.
Yes, the CB Menu PM works perfectly fine.
I have disabled the profile link plugin as a temporary fix. If I have news I will post it here.

This older Version (v2.6) of the plugin works.
