As it's browser specific perhaps there's some sort of addon installed in your browser? Does this happen on other computers with FF? Have you tried updating your browser (only if is out of date of course)?

this was a local issue. it is fixed now. i had to edit the about:config file of my firefox browser to turn off autofil and now the site loads as it should for me
