[SOLVED] How can I allow my users to fill out their Facebook id

You're doing nothing wrong. The email you're supplying is already registered on your site. To link to an existing account you need to first login then click the Link button in the login module/page.

Well, I'll be darned. I'm quite sure I did take a look at the login page before and the Link button was not there at that time. Now it is and Linking just works fine. As does displaying the tweets. So I guess I've got the idea now.

Krileon, thanks for your patience and instructions. Usually I'm not that slow (anyway, that's what I'd like to tell myself ;) ) but it took some time this time.

Hi Krileon,

CB Connect is running fine now, except for one button: LinkedIn.

I've followed the same recipe with this button as with three others (FB, G+ and Twitter) but this is the only one which seems 'dead'. Do you have any suggestions for troubleshooting?

View your browser error console then click the LinkedIn button and see if any errors occur. Typically a social site fails to work due to domain matching failing. For example if you give the social site example.com and try to login at www.example.com it'll fail; they're very strict on domain matching.

Found it: I did not specify the JavaScript API domain on the LinkedIn developer panel. Guess I left it blank because LinkedIn doesn't say this is required.
