Hi,

In my site i'm using a grid layout for the userlists, i am doing that changing the css from the template webfx.

I would like to start using the bootstrap template, but i saw that it doesn't have grid layout too :(

Do i have to change the css from bootstrap too? Is the same thing or there is a diferent way to do that grid layout?

Are you going to have a grid layout for userlists in CB 2.0? If not, i would like to give this sugestion!! :) (I know that lots of times people are asking how to have a layout grid in the forum)

Me for example, every time that i update Community builder, i have to go and do again... and again... the css changes to have this grid layout... its kind of doing the same work that i had already done every upgrate!

Best regards

Thanks

No idea what your CSS is so can't say if it'll work with bootstrap or not, but if you placed it in your Joomla template CSS file it should work in CB Bootstrap too.

I've no idea, please understand we can't implement anything and everything users request. We've plans to do a design upgrade to frontend so perhaps will make it much easier to edit the userlist display via HTML or XML.

Me for example, every time that i update Community builder, i have to go and do again... and again... the css changes to have this grid layout... its kind of doing the same work that i had already done every upgrate!

Don't edit core files. Place custom CSS in a new CB template or in your Joomla template CSS file (changes less often). You then won't have to do this everytime you upgrade CB.

Hi Diogotu,

Did you manage to create a BS-grid layout for the user list. I'm struggling with the same problem.
Any Ideas where to start?

Thanks in advance

Mark

It's built into CB 2.0 userlists. You don't need anything special for this now. Please also be careful with resurrecting old posts as this topic is over a year old. In these cases please just create a new topic and provide a link in your post to the older topic.

Thanks Krileon for quick response, I see CB2.0 is released, I've installed this and.... this is the solution to my problem.
Great layout-possibilities. Now I only have to figure out how to restyle it Bootstrap-wise...

Thanks again for helping me so fast.

cheers :P
