I am having the same issue with the same results. When I change the template it works. Also when I have my current template and the debug mode on it works. Can you help direct me what to do now? I would really like to keep my current template. Also, I believe that the email was working fine with the template before the recent Joomla update, however, I can't be sure. Thanks!

okay, odd occurrence... with debug mode enabled, no matter how error reporting is set, the email sends fine and I get no errors to debug. As soon as I disable debug mode, the email fails to send again.
Great. Yes - disabling the template makes the email work just fine. so now I have to find out what in the template is interfering with it, and why enabling debug mode fixed it.
